Unwaith eto mae’n rhoi cryn bleser i gyfeirio at lwyddiant arbennig yr ysgol yn yr arholiadau allanol. Yn Safon A roedd canran llwyddiant y 57 ymgeisydd yn 98.6 y cant gyda 73 y cant yn ennill graddau A-C. Safodd 68 ymgeisydd yr arholiad Uwch Gyfrannol. Llwyddodd 90 y cant ac enillodd 65 y cant raddau A-C. Safodd 141 o ddisgyblion arholiadau TGAU gyda chanran llwyddiant o 99.4 y cant. Roedd 70 y cant o’r graddau yn raddau A* - C gyda 67.5 y cant yn ennill o leiaf pum gradd A* - C. Enillodd naw disgybl o leiaf 10 gradd A neu A* yr un. Roedd y canlyniadau yma unwaith eto yn llawer uwch na chanlyniadau Ceredigion a Chymru. Yn yr arholiadau Lefel Mynediad llwyddodd 98.3 y cant ac enillodd bron 60 y cant y graddau uchaf. Mae’r canlyniadau hyn yn adlewyrchu cydymdrechion ac ymroddiad staff a disgyblion a chefnogaeth gyson rhieni. |

Once again it gives me great pleasure to refer to the school’s success in the external examinations. At A level the 57 candidates achieved a 98.6 per cent pass rate with 73 per cent gaining A-C grades. 68 candidates sat the AS level examinations with an overall success rate of 90 per cent and 65 per cent gaining A-C grades. 141 pupils sat the GCSE examinations and achieved an overall pass rate of 99.4 per cent with 70 per cent gaining A* - C grades and 67.5 per cent obtaining at least five A* - C grades. Nine pupils each attained at least 10A or A* grades. These results again were much higher than the Ceredigion and Welsh averages. At Entry level 98.3 per cent were successful and nearly 60 per cent of the candidates achieved top grades . These results reflect the concerted efforts, dedication and commitment of both staff and pupils as well as the unfailing support of parents. |
